Published work covers sustainable construction, sustainable development and corporate social responsibility conservation, the management of natural resources – including forest management. Author of:

  • 18 peer-reviewed journal papers and 15 chapters in various books
  • 50+ non-peer-reviewed journal and popular articles 
  • 10+ reports, including three high profile WWF reports and numerous policy briefings, for example The timber footprint of the G8 and China, and The UK Forest Footprint. As well as author of sustainability reports for Bovis Lend Lease, WSP, and Cory Riverside Energy.
  • Numerous keynote addresses on the environment and sustainable development at conferences for government and business audiences, for example, with UKTI in Vietnam,  at Greenbuild (US GreenBuildingCouncil). 
  • Visiting lecturer, University College London, 2013: Lecturer at the School of the Built Environment and Architecture on the subjects of future cities and citizen’s quality of life. Lectured to MSc Sustainable Built Environment course University of Oxford and Prince’s Trust (2013).
