Paul was appointed in 2010 by the then Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, and re-appointed in 2017 by Sadiq Khan to the London Sustainability Development Commission (LSDC). He is currently Chair of Quality of Life working group, undertook this role in 2012 overseeing the last Quality of Life report. Paul is a member of the executive committee of the LSDC. Paul’s other work with the Commission has included development of a city-wide carbon measurement standard (PAS2070); assessing policy for access to nature, designing a road-map for circular economy for London (http://www.londonsdc.org.uk)
