Paul provides independent advice to a range of businesses and organisations.

As an independent non-executive director for Redmond Group Ltd, a mechanical and plumbing business, Paul advises on business development,  environment and sustainability strategy.

London Sustainable Development Commission. Appointed by the Mayor of London in 2010, Paul is a Commissioner advising the Mayor and GLA. He has chaired a number of committees and working groups with a focus ranging from carbon emmisions, natural capital and access to nature, as well as quality of life reports.

Paul is a trusted advisor to Climate KIC, a not-for-profit organisation, funded by the European Commission as a knowledge and innovation community, working to accelerate the transition to a zero-carbon economy. Paul reviews projects seeking funding supporting their urban transition programme

Paul was appointed a non-executive director of Redmond Group (RGL), a mechanical and plumbing business. Paul is helping grow the business by providing independent scrutiny and rigour to the executive management of the company. Paul is also using his network to support new business development with clients that share the same values to RGL, and he advises on their the environment and sustainability strategy, which sets them apart from their competition. Case Study: Expert advisor

Paul was appointed in 2010 by the then Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, and re-appointed in 2017 by Sadiq Khan to the London Sustainability Development Commission (LSDC). He is currently Chair of Quality of Life working group, undertook this role in 2012 overseeing the publication in 2012 and 2017 of its Quality of Life reports. Paul is a member of the executive committee of the LSDC. Paul’s other work with the Commission has included development of a city-wide carbon measurement standard (PAS2070); assessing policy for access to nature, designing a roadmap for circular economy for London.
